From the profile page or when you start your first MoneyMatch you will be prompted to enter your Epic ID/gamertag. If your Epic ID contains special characters, view our FAQ here. 

Follow these steps to verify your Epic account:

As the first step you will be asked to enter your Epic ID

• This is not technically your actual Epic ID, we are actually asking for your gamertag.

• If your Epic ID is the same as a player on another platform, you will be required to select the correct one from a list. 

• If this step fails make sure your Fortnite account is set to public. To do this you must have the “Show on Career Leaderboard” option set to “ON”, this setting is found under:

  • Settings → Account and Privacy

The next step is to launch Fortnite and send a friend request to the account listed.

• The request will be automatically accepted.

As soon as the account is added you will be notified that the account linking was successful. 

If you try to proceed without adding the account you will be informed that the friend request was not received and the verification process will not complete. 

Once these steps are complete your Epic account will be verified and linked to your Skrmiish account.

What if my Epic Gamertag has special characters?
